Now I’m a blogger

This is my first new post in the bBlog [now replaced with WordPress]. I didn’t even know what a blog was until last night; that’s when I did a Google search to find out. After reading the definition I realized that my “Site News” section was actually a rudamentary blog. I then did another search to see if I could find a free blog for my site in order to eliminate the amount of manual work required to update my “Site News” section.

As you can see, I found it. It took about 20 minutes to read the docs, set up the database, and install the blog on my server. Now I have a much easier time posting updates to the site. I’ve gone back and added all my old “Site News” postings to the blog so that everything is in one place. So far I like this blog thing very much.
