Keyless Entry Rules!

I just got the keyless entry and alarm system installed and it rules! I love being able to push a button and get into my car. When I start the car up the doors lock and when I turn the ignition off the doors unlock, all automatically. I’m now 31 and I haven’t had keyless entry, power windows, cruise control or anything like that ever since I’ve been driving so this is a big deal for me. What are standard features to most people are luxuries to me.
Although I’m pleased with the new Kia Sorento overall I’m a little disappointed in one thing: it’s virtually impossible to find aftermarket wheels for it. The problem is that although the bolt pattern is fine the offset is weird. Now, I spoke with the guy at the local Firestone and also a guy at another tire store and they both said that often times it will take a couple model years for the wheel manufacturers to start making after market wheels for new offsets such as this.
But there might be some hope; the guy at another local wheel store said he could get a few models of wheels but they would be 16×8 instead of 16×7, which is what’s on it now. So basically they would stick out about an inch more on each side of the car. I’m debating on whether or not this will look okay. I’m afraid I’m gonna look one of those bass-pumping ass clowns who drive their “tricked out” rice burners around in circles trying to pick up skanky chicks. I like the wheels though, so I might go ahead and do it.
So, I guess in the grand scheme of things the wheel “problem” is not so bad. Looks like I just need to be patient and wait until the after market manufacturers begin producing wheels to fit my “misfit” SUV or go with the 16×8 wheels. In the meantime, however, at least I now have a nice, new car that the whole family can enjoy. Even baby Orson now has more “leg room” now.
