I’m being unusually political as of late but I just learned something very interesting. Tom DeLay, the Jesus Freak who spearheaded the “fight to save Terri Schiavo”, actually pulled the plug on his own father. His father suffered catastrophic brain damage in an accident in 1988 and DeLay pulled the plug on him. There are differences in the cases but essentially they’re very, very similar.

Supposedly Islam is supposed to be a religion of kindness and tolerance but all I see on the news is bigotry, hatred, fanaticism, and intolerance. It’s amazing to me that a Muslim cleric can call for the death of a person because said person converts to another religion. I’m no fan of organized religion, including Christianity, but if Muslims truly are tolerant and loving then how is it acceptable to incite murder? Issac Hayes has proven to be just another hypocrite (and screwball Scientologist). He quit South Park citing its “inappropriate ridicule” of religion. Here’s part of his statement:
