Google Text Editor and Spreadsheet

I just recently stumbled upon the new Google spreadsheet. They also just purchased a text editor called “Writely”. Both these applications are web-based. Pretty interesting. Here are the links:

I briefly tested them both out and they look kinda cool. I’m not sure if I’m ready to jump completely online (and give up my privacy and my OpenOffice) but it’s something to consider. If you try them out (or use them regularly) feel free to leave a comment about your experiences or opinions.
