A Little Closer to Fixed…Hopefully
Saturday, February 24th, 2007 at 9:38 pm
AT&T came out Friday and they say there are no problems with our outside or inside phone lines. He believes the static on the line is from our cordless phone and in my testing I’ve experienced similar results. So we’ve been using the hard-wired phone for the past couple days without any static. We bought a new cordless phone tonight as a result and we’re hoping that the static problem clears up after that.
As far as the DSL goes it’s still going up and down intermittently. I’m testing another DSL modem hoping that that will fix the problem. If not, then it’s back to tech support and the proverbial drawing board.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Two car bombs tore through a packed shopping area of a mainly Shi’ite district of Baghdad on Sunday, killing 60 people in the worst attack since U.S. and Iraqi troops launched a crackdown in the city five days ago.

Connectivity Problems
Sunday, February 18th, 2007 at 2:49 pm
You might experience connectivity problems with this site when you try to access it; something seems to be up with my ADSL connection and it’s chronically dropping it. I’ve been through two new routers and have performed a dozen tests against the phone lines and my internal network and I’m no closer now to solving it than I was a week ago. Things seem to be working today but that’s no guarantee that things will continue to work.
So, if you try to visit this or one of my other sites and you can’t get in please just check back later. Hopefully this problem will resolve itself or I’ll figure something out before long.

I can’t stop laughing about this. It’s the ad campaign that went horribly right.
